Initially Marksans Pharma Ltd. had special focus on its exports to the important markets like Europe, Latin America, Africa and Oceania. We are going from strength to strength in this segment everyday.

Marksans Pharma also made its presence felt in the Indian pharmaceutical market what could be termed as emerging giant. Specialty focus remains the hallmark of our emerging expansion. While Mark Remedies remains focused in the hard-core prescription market of Oncology, Gastroenterology, Antidiabetic, Cardiovascular, Pain Management, Gynecology and others, our Criticare division is concentrating on the sophisticated market of Biotechnology. The latest of the endeavors is in form of Cerebella, a division dedicated to the cause of Neuro-Psychiatry. We spread our wings to visit new horizons through Zenmark.

The Formulation manufacturing plant at Verna, Goa, has the state of the art facilities and is specially designed to meet the statutory requirements that world demands from us. This plant is US FDA compliant and has approval of esteemed TGA (Australia), MHRA (United Kingdom) ANVISA (Brazil) apart from WHO GMP certificate. This factory has the largest Soft gel manufacturing facility in India. This is a 100% EOU.

We also have huge manufacturing capacities for API and Intermediates at our two plants situated near Pune. With this we are closer to becoming fully integrated pharma company.

As far as inorganic growth is concerned, Marksans merged with Tasc Pharmaceuticals to aspire to become fully integrated company. To have foothold in Australia we acquired Nova Pharmaceuticals and in Europe we acquired UKMHRA approved formulation manufacturing plant in UK which exports liquid, ointment and powder to 50 countries globally.

These acquisitions give us an opportunity to leverage the low cost opportunity in India and further enhance the profitability.

To strengthen our efforts in reaching to our mission, Marksans Pharma's full-fledged R&D centre has been set up at Verna Goa, Kurkumbh Pune, and at New Delhi with a strong focus on new chemical entity and drug discovery and development support services.
